Hello Reader!

It’s been some time since my last update. And the reason for that is I've been working on something. Something big.

Over the past year, most of my creative energy has gone into Oceanic, the tabletop game I briefly mentioned in my last email.

What started as a small side project has steadily grown into the biggest creative undertaking I’ve ever worked on, and I’m excited to finally begin sharing more of it with you.

Oceanic is a strategy board game about exploring and preserving the underwater world. In a lot of ways, it draws on the same things I love about storytelling: worldbuilding, discovery, atmosphere, strategy, and creating experiences that pull people into another world for a while.

Later this summer, I’ll be launching Oceanic on Kickstarter to help bring the game to life. As the project moves toward crowdfunding, I realized some of you here might enjoy following along — especially those who love fantasy, science, ocean life, or tabletop games.

And on the writing front, once Oceanic launches, I plan to jump back into work on my latest book right where I left off. I’m looking forward to returning to that world again.
